About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Aurora St Luke's South Shore. This night shift position requires a strong foundation in respiratory therapy processes, with a focus on supporting patient assessment and providing medication treatments and therapies as prescribed.
Responsibilities
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting patient assessment using respiratory therapy processes
- Operating specialized ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues
- Providing medication treatments and therapies as prescribed
- Cleaning, maintaining, and ensuring proper functionality of equipment
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Graduate degree from an accredited respiratory care program with a minimum of an associate degree
- A Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state in which you practice
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, use of e-mail and electronic medical record systems
