The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients with orthopedic conditions. This will include:
Responsibilities:
- Performing laboratory procedures such as strep tests, wound cultures, and specimen collection
- Administering medications under physician orders
- Initiating, maintaining, and discontinuing IV therapy
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in orthopedic nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop rapport and maintain positive relationships with patients, staff, and physicians
