The Role:
As a Radiology Technologist at Advocate Aurora Health, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. You will be responsible for operating advanced digital and computed radiographic equipment, including portable units and fluoroscopy machines, to produce high-quality images that aid in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
* Operate various types of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images
* Position patients correctly to ensure optimal image quality
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
* Maintain equipment and supplies in good working condition to prevent downtime and ensure smooth workflow
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes
Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience
* Current ARRT registration and state licensure (if applicable)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
