About the Job
Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. This is a full-time opportunity that requires 36 hours of work per week with various shifts.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures, including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, obtaining clinical history, and confirming understanding.
- Position patients, select exposure factors, and provide radiation protection according to prescribed methods.
- Identify patients, label images, compare requisitions to physician orders, and process images for quality control.
- Assist, communicate, and consult with Radiologists as needed.
Requirements
- Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
- Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA), obtainable within 6 months.
