Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Aurora Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services in critical and non-critical care environments.
- Provide respiratory therapy processes to support patient assessment, using various skills such as pulmonary diagnostics, chest radiograph, hemodynamic values, laboratory values, and correlates blood gases and electrolytes.
- Identify and address the special needs of patient populations specific to department services.
- Operate specialized ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues.
- Assist physicians with bedside or other procedures as applicable to facility.
- Provide medication treatments and therapies per physician order and/or patient-driven respiratory protocols as prescribed.
- Clean, maintain, and ensure proper functionality of equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment as necessary and identify the need for service and/or repair.
