About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Park Ridge, Illinois. This is a full-time opportunity with a 36-hour workweek and flexible shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care.
- Develop and maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients and families throughout the healthcare continuum.
- Anticipate and recognize significant changes in patient condition, status, and need for care, taking appropriate actions when necessary.
- Implement strategies to reduce patient risk and increase patient safety.
- Provide ongoing evaluation of patient, team, and unit outcomes, empowered to take action when changes are needed.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
- Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist, 20 lbs over the head, and carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
- Must be able to push/pull with 30 lbs of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs with a second person present.
