Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their full potential and regain independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient's physical, perceptual, cognitive, social, and vocational abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Design and implement individualized interventions to enhance patient's functional independence, including the creation and use of assistive devices and splints.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist for the State of Illinois or Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Environment:
- The ideal candidate must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, and squat throughout the workday.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level is required.
- Push/pull with 30 pounds of force.
