As a Medical Imaging Specialist in our Radiology Department, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while working collaboratively with our experienced team of healthcare professionals.
In this part-time role, you will perform radiologic procedures, communicate with patients, and provide exceptional care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic and fluoroscopy exams.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing their concerns.
- Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations.
- Ensure exam accuracy and quality of radiographs by identifying patients and labeling images.
- Collaborate with physicians, working independently outside the department.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, entering patient and study information into the radiology information system.
- Provide technical support and serve as a resource for students and staff.
