Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse Advocate at the medical cardiology group. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, advocacy, and support specific to the cardiology department. Responsibilities include patient education, care coordination, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Patient Care, Clinical Advocacy, and Care Coordination skills
- Knowledge of cardiology procedures and treatments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
- BSN or higher degree in Nursing
- Certifications in ACLS and BLS
- Experience in a cardiology or related medical setting preferred
