Job Overview
We are seeking a teammate first and foremost. We need someone to attend to new hires, timely send monthly billing and follow up and collect on past due billings. Bilingual a bonus. Professional presentation is required. Must pass a background check. References will be called.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. This role is essential in maintaining the financial health of our organization and requires strong, professional and polite communication skills and a thorough understanding of revenue cycle management.
Duties
- Attend to all incoming clients and the necessary paperwork.
- Manage and maintain accounts by reviewing account status and payment history.
- Negotiate payment arrangements with clients to facilitate timely debt recovery.
- Conduct phone calls to follow up on outstanding invoices while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues related to billing.
- Execute account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Collaborate with the medical billing department to address any billing inquiries or disputes.
- Utilize math skills to calculate payment amounts, debits, and credits accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of all communications and transactions related to accounts receivable.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage client interactions and secure payments.
- Proficient in phone etiquette, ensuring professional communication with clients at all times.
- Bilingual is preferred but not required.
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes within revenue cycle management.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to debits, credits, and payment processing.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
