About the Role
AdvocateMH is seeking a dynamic and versatile Chief of Staff to work closely with our CEO and leadership team to ensure operational excellence across the organization. As Chief of Staff, you will serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and other executives, drive cross-functional initiatives, and act as a bridge between departments. You command expertise in one or more key priorities: FP&A, product marketing, partnerships, and/or operations. The ideal candidate is resourceful, highly adaptable, and thrives in this early-stage, fast-paced startup environment. This role is critical to scaling our organization and advancing our mission of transforming mental health care. The Chief of Staff role can lead to a leadership role in finance, marketing/commercialization, or operations.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team
Drive alignment across departments during the early stage blitz-scaling phase
Monitor progress on organizational objectives and ensure follow-through on executive decisions
Growth & Partnerships
Collaborate with marketing and partnerships teams to drive business development efforts for key stakeholders
Support the execution of growth strategies that expand AdvocateMH’s impact in the mental health space.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and clients.
Communication & Project Management
Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for board meetings
Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
Qualifications
Advanced degree preferred (MBA or equivalent).
5 years of professional experience in healthcare leadership roles. Experience with payors and health systems is a plus, but not required
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead complex projects successfully
Able to work in Boston in-person
