Private Equity Investment Funds Associate (Class of ’20–’22) | Elite AmLaw 100 Firm
Ready to do real work on the deals shaping tomorrow’s private markets? Our AmLaw 100 client—a firm consistently at the forefront of fund formation—is looking for a standout associate to join their Private Investment Funds team in NYC, BOS, or WAS.
This is your opportunity to work with top-tier sponsors, institutional investors, and a team that doesn’t just follow the market—they lead it. Think high-stakes, high-impact, and no ceiling on your growth.
What You’ll Tackle:
Drive fund formation deals from kickoff to close—this isn’t “just papering the docs.”
Work across private equity, real estate, and next-gen tech funds.
Advise clients on key securities and regulatory matters under the 1933 Act, Investment Company Act, and Advisers Act.
Build deep, strategic relationships with clients and teammates who invest in your success.
Who You Are:
JD from a top law school admitted in New York, Massachusetts or DC
2–5 years of experience in private investment funds at a top firm.
Fluent in the language of unregistered funds and private placements.
Curious, collaborative, and confident—someone who takes ownership of the work.
Why This Role:
A seat at the table on elite, career-defining deals.
A firm culture that values transparency, inclusion, and mentorship—not burnout.
Competitive comp, serious growth potential, and a brand that opens doors.
You didn’t take the long way through law school and BigLaw training to play it small. If you're ready for your next bold move in the private funds space, this is it.
