Responsibilities
As a Developmental Supports Specialist, you will:
- Provide person-centered support that empowers individuals with developmental disabilities to take control of their lives.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans that promote independence, choice, and inclusion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policy, procedure, and practice guidelines that promote best practices in support delivery.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date on best practices, research, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience in developmental services/behavioral health area preferred.
- Valid drivers license along with an acceptable driving status.
- Use of a reliable vehicle, which seats two passengers.
Salary : $19 - $500
