Overview
We are seeking a Residential Life Skills Coach to join our team at Advocates. This role involves implementing individual service and behavioral plans, supervising and supporting daily activities, and providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized service and behavioral plans, ensuring the highest level of care and support for individuals
- Supervise and support daily activities, promoting independence and community integration
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling to individuals, fostering a learning environment
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with program leadership and clinicians to implement behavior plans and treatment plans
- Track and report data related to service and behavioral plans, ensuring compliance with agency expectations
- Participate in planning and implementation of daily activity schedules and routines
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years of experience working in human services, with a focus on direct care and support
- Experience implementing behavioral plans and data collection, with a preference for applied behavioral therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed, with a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle
- Strong computer knowledge and ability to operate agency software
