Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial/diagnostic assessments on clients referred to the program.
- Implement individual, group and family substance abuse/trauma informed/Motivational Enhancement treatment.
- Manage risk for all assigned clients in accordance with treatment team recommendations.
- Conduct assessments for Driver Alcohol Education (DAE) and Second Offender Aftercare (SOA) Program, lead groups in support of both programs.
- Collaboratively develop treatment plans, interventions and discharge-planning with clients’ families, Drug Court Coordinator and care providers.
- Conduct Substance Abuse evaluations for court.
- Maintain strong linkages with the District Courts and on-going substance use, mental health and medical treatment as indicated.
- Master’s Degree in related field required with two years’ minimum experience in substance use and/or addictions treatment.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to an operational and insured vehicle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including proper documentation abilities.
- Ability to develop and maintain satisfactory working relationships with employees and providers.
- Enthusiastic, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast-paced, team atmosphere.
- Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
