Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. This is a full-time position located in Spartanburg, SC.
Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assemble and install pipes and fittings using various tools and techniques
- Perform inspections to identify plumbing issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose and resolve plumbing problems
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and practices
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
