People Operations Specialist - North America
Adyen is looking for an eager People Operations Specialist that can join the Global HR Innovations Team to further drive the international growth of the company. Our aim as a team is to support the development, management and retaining of our talented Adyen workforce - we keep our people moving to keep payments moving.

In this role, you will be guiding new colleagues through their pre-boarding/onboarding and support the business on all their HR queries. As a People Operations Specialist you will be part of the global HR Innovations team.
This role is based in our San Francisco office. We have a hybrid workplace and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
What you'll do:
Automation and Scale
- Be the champion for HR automation, data, and scale. Advance organizational effectiveness and solve challenges by tapping into your HR expertise
- Build and extend our HR self-service tools and content to scale for our growing employee population
- Support and scale ongoing team projects by working closely with external vendors, every part of the HR Team, and other teams throughout the business
Employee Lifecycle
- Manage and continually improve our employee lifecycle, from onboarding to off-boarding
- Partner closely with the Total Rewards team to manage benefits administration, including benefits reporting, billing, strategy planning, and open enrollment
- Partner closely with Recruiting, HRBPs, Finance, Legal, IT and other departments to ensure a smooth employee experience
HR Operations, Data and Compliance
- Partner internally to manage HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain HRIS system, manage employee data, and regularly audit data to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Partner closely with the Payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll input
- Act as a first point of contact for employees on People Operations inquiries, responding to, following up on, and working to resolve any issues and problems
Who you are
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a People/HR Operations role or similar
- Experience with an HRIS, preferably Workday
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Able to handle sensitive information, discretely with a high standard of integrity and confidentiality
- Experience in onboarding and off-boarding, preferably in an fast-growing organization
- Innovative mindset
- Experience working in a global environment
