Seeking Mental Health APRN to work the Kauai Community Correctional Center
$71 per hour
Shift Details:
- Part-time or full-time
- Negotiable shifts
- Responsibilities:
- Performing physical exams
- Ordering and interpreting lab tests
- Diagnosing medical conditions
- Managing patient records
- Educating patients on their condition and care
- Counseling patients and their family members
- Developing treatment plans
- Dispensing medications
- Giving vaccinations
- Providing referrals to specialists Qualifications:
- Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
- First time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse must have 6 months of recent (within the last 3 years) nursing experience gained within a hospital or similar acute care setting
- Active DEA/NED required
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of HI
