DESCRIPTION:
As an Automation/Electrical Engineer at AE Electrical Solutions, you will be crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for electrical projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our Engineering & Automation Division.
Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the Engineering & Automation team to design, implement, and maintain control systems that meet project requirements.
- Create electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and writing diagrams.
- Select and specify appropriate hardware components, sensors, PLCs, HMI, and SCADA devices.
- Develop PLC HMI and SCADA programs using industry-standard software
- Configure and troubleshoot control systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Implement safety systems and protocols to meet industry standards.
- Conduct thorough testing of the automation system to verify functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with technicians to resolve any issues or malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical and control system designs.
- Generate technical reports and manuals for system operation and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or Associate’s Degree with five years experience in a related field.
- Three years experience in controls engineering with general management experience in the electrical contracting/ electrical controls industry
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- It will vary depending on the particular job. You may work in changing weather conditions and temperatures.
- Able to work 8 to 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as required, and night shifts.
