Description
Under general supervision, a person operates a variety of heavy equipment including, but not limited to, dump trucks, backhoes, track hoe, skid loader, trencher, digger derrick, man lifts, locating equipment, and boring machine.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of operation of light and heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Mounting and strapping loaded equipment, tools, and supplies
- Understands safety requirements and traffic laws
Working Conditions
- Mostly outdoor year-round in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
- Able to work 8 to 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as required, and night shifts
