AE is seeking a Project Financial Analyst to be responsible for administering, analyzing and managing the financial aspects of construction projects to ensure that they remain within budget, meet financial goals, and are financially viable. This role will require collaboration with account managers, estimating teams, and construction managers to accurately track financial performance, forecast costs, and identify potential risks or opportunities for cost savings, while maintaining communication and providing timely communication and reporting to the Accounting Manager, Division Leads, and Executive Team. This position will primarily work out of the Frankfort Office, with occasional travel to the Richmond office or job sites as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in project finance or construction accounting.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control within the context of construction projects.
- Proficiency with accounting software (Procore and/or Sage Intacct preferred) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with project teams and senior management.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
