The Role.
We are looking for a highly organized, collaborative, and results-orientated Broadcast Engineer to join our dynamic and growing US team, serving our client on-site at their broadcast facility in Stamford, CT; where we deliver remote graphics for up to 15 live sports events per weekend, and two virtual studios. This role will be required to work alongside our on-site Broadcast Engineer on Saturdays and Sundays, likely hours will be between 7am ET and 2am ET.
The Engineering team supports and maintains our various broadcast and production facilities and services, for the delivery of graphics services for our clients.Our Engineer requires an understanding of both traditional broadcast graphics and emerging virtual production technologies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in core graphics systems like Vizrt and ideally will have a good understanding of real-time virtual engines like Unreal Engine. This role will be office based but may require travel domestically and perhaps internationally to facilitate the wider business needs.
Due to the nature of this role, our business and the events we are contracted for, a high level of flexibility is required.

Your Role Accountabilities.
- Responsibility for the provision and maintenance of broadcast and production equipment at our facility in Stamford, CT.
- Troubleshoot graphic systems during live broadcasts and recordings.
- Collaborate with producers, directors and senior leaders to translate creative and technical concepts into solutions.
- Assist in the installation, configuration and servicing of hardware and software.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure equipment and systems are connected and reliable 100%of the time.
- 1st Line support of office and network infrastructure.
- Involvement in the implementation, development and support of AE remote working environments.
Qualifications & Experience.
- 3 years of equivalent professional experience in the broadcast engineering field, ideally at a network, production, or graphics company.
- Familiarity of Outside Broadcast and Production environments.
- Detailed knowledge of graphics systems (Vizrt, Chryon Prime, Ross Xpression, Unreal Engine).
- Proven aptitude for quick project solving, critical thinking, anticipating consequences, eliminating obstacles and decision-making in a fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively and to self-manage, working autonomously when required.
- The legal right to live and work in the United States is non-negotiable and this role will be based in Stamford, CT with some travel required to our HQ studio in Secaucus, New Jersey.

- Excellent verbal communication with strong presentation skills.
- Have a full valid driving license.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, location, skill set, experience and/or performance. Pay range: $350– $750 per day, with a ‘workday’ classed as up to 12hrs per day.
