- Anticipated Starting Salary: $59,400-$72,600 per year DOE (Compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, etc.) Position will remain posted until filled.
Proposal Coordinator
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual seeking a rewarding career and an opportunity for advancement! The Proposal Coordinator is on the front lines of our business development initiatives, acting as the go-to person for proposal efforts. The individual will support strategic company pursuits, including the development and production of proposals, from the initial step of the go/no go process to developing compelling technical proposals and interview materials. This position encourages you to expand your knowledge of the proposal process, as well as providing an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of our industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with multiple disciplines to develop winning strategies and position the team for continued success.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Proposal Managers to develop proposals and interview materials from start to finish to support strategic company pursuits.
- Help develop proposal/interview strategies for project pursuits.
- Create graphics and perform photo editing for proposals and presentations.
- Work with management and other proposal coordinators to improve efficiency and processes.
- Prepare, update, and maintain central files of written materials, resumes, photographs, graphics, slides, etc. covering all proposals past and present.
- Support other marketing functions as part of a larger marketing team.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field required.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to be flexible, maintain a positive attitude, and work collaboratively to develop a team environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with strong grammar, spelling, composition, and proofreading abilities.
- Basic understanding of design principles.
- Ability to multi-task and work under the pressure of a deadline-driven environment to meet client needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient with CRM (Deltek preferred).
- 4 years’ experience, ideally in an AEC firm.
Physical Qualifications
- Primary functions require physical ability and sufficient mobility to work in an office setting
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight
- Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement
- Fine coordination including the use of a computer keyboard
- May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
- May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
- May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
