Position
Assemblers are responsible for building surface maintenance equipment according to blueprints and written specifications.
Responsibilities
- Assemble component parts for products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality.
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
- Test installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality.
- Fit, trim, align, and adjust parts and components, as well as attach hardware and seals assembly.
- Solders, lugs, routes, and ties electrical components.
- Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies.
Qualifications
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings.
- Has strong mechanical aptitude.
- Physical ability to work in awkward positions for extended periods of time and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to calibrate unit according to specification.
- Previous related manufacturing experience.
