Field Service Technician – MB Pavement

Position
We are currently searching for the right candidate to join our Aftermarket Service and Training team as a Field Service Technician. This position will be responsible for servicing and demonstrating our pavement striping vehicles and equipment as well as providing training for operators at our customer’s locations.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrating equipment to potential customers.
- Installing new or modified equipment at customer’s facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
- Assisting in the training of new operators at customer sites.
- Providing on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot, repair, and adjust equipment.
- Evaluating field installations and recommending design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
- Attending trade shows which may include assembling and disassembling equipment.
Qualifications
- An associate degree in a related technical field and two to four years of related service experience preferred.
- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to travel (up to 75%) throughout the United States
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must regularly/frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and infrequently/occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and adverse outside weather conditions.
