Position
The Quality Technician is responsible for day-to-day production support at the Airport Maintenance Products facility, including process monitoring, data collection, and implementing process improvements to improve product and process quality. Additional similar responsibilities supporting the Attachments and Brush plants will be assigned as needed.

Position
The Quality Technician is responsible for day-to-day production support at the Airport Maintenance Products facility, including process monitoring, data collection, and implementing process improvements to improve product and process quality. Additional similar responsibilities supporting the Attachments and Brush plants will be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform production process audits to ensure that personnel understand their responsibilities and work is performed in accordance with the requirements.
- Perform final visual inspection and/or measurement of parts, assemblies, and finished goods to ensure product quality.
- Report findings of process audits and product inspections, including trends and repetitive nonconformance(s), to relevant personnel.
- Work with Production Management, Leads, and team members to improve production processes and improve product quality.
- Facilitate proper documentation and resolution of nonconforming material issues.
- Ensure that monitoring and measuring equipment is calibrated in accordance with company policy.
- Develop work instructions to control or improve Assembly processes.
- Work with Suppliers to improve quality of purchased components.
- Work with Engineering to improve quality of Engineering documentation and promote design for manufacturability.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field; OR 2 years relevant experience.
- Basic understanding of root cause analysis tools, including but not limited to fishbone and 5 Whys.
- Able to work independently with little oversight or in a team.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
