We are hiring a Forensic Architect! This role offers a unique opportunity to apply architecture design expertise in building envelope assessments, construction defect analysis, and failure investigations for a diverse range of projects.

What You’ll Do :
Conduct forensic investigations of building failures, including structural deficiencies, water intrusion, material failures, and code compliance issues.
Perform on-site evaluations, document findings, and prepare detailed forensic reports.
Analyze architectural and construction documents to assess compliance with standards and best practices.
Work closely with engineers, contractors, attorneys, and insurance professionals to provide expert insights and recommendations.
Develop and present remediation strategies, repair solutions, and cost estimates.
Provide litigation support and expert testimony when necessary.
Stay current with industry advancements in building materials, forensic techniques, and code requirements.

No previous forensics experience required!
About You :
Licensed Architect (AIA) in Minnesota. Other states a plus
10 years of experience with a wide range of buildings preferred
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building envelope systems, waterproofing, and structural design
Experience with building codes, ADA compliance, and construction litigation support is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing building performance issues
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and forensic analysis tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting and client interactions
Ability to travel for site investigations and client meetings as needed
