This is a brand-new opening an Electrical Designer! You now have the ability to join the region’s leading consulting engineering firm and contribute to designs of electrical systems for commercial architecture projects.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Electrical Designer to contribute to a variety of projects, including healthcare, housing, retail, education, manufacturing, and more. You will join a larger team comprised of electrical, structural, mechanical, and civil engineering professionals.
- Design power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for commercial and institutional buildings
- Develop electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using Revit
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure high-quality project execution
- Perform calculations, code compliance reviews, and equipment selections
- Assist in construction administration and respond to RFIs as needed

About You:
- Degree or coursework in electrical engineering, architecture, construction, drafting, or related field
- 3 years of experience in electrical design for building systems including power, lighting, and systems
- Proficiency in Revit. Electrical load calculation software a plus
- Understanding of NEC codes and industry standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
