Are you an experienced project estimator / scheduler in Central Florida looking for a change? Check out this amazing opportunity for a Construction Estimator / Project Manager with experience in commercial and residential site development!
Our client is a well-respected turn-key site development company providing services throughout Central Florida. With roots as a small grading company, our client has quickly expanded into underground utilities, paving, concrete, and all other facets of site work.
Construction Estimator / Project Manager Responsibilities :
- Receiving / reading blueprints
- Performing takeoffs of blueprints
- Identifying potential conflicts in construction methodology proposed in the plans
- Working with material suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
- Writing up estimates and schedules for projects
- Coordinating with clients, engineers, inspectors, field staff, and subcontractors to answer questions
- Trouble shoot problems that may arise during construction and work with the team to develop cost effective solutions
- Writing up change orders for additional services
- Assist with billing and pay applications
