Roadway Engineer

Our client is hiring! We are searching for a Roadway Engineer in Florida, preferably in Tallahassee, FL. This client provides Transportation, Traffic and Planning services.

Roadway Engineer / Project Manager Responsibilities :

• Strong foundation in highway design principles and concepts, FDOT design standards, FDOT plans preparation procedures
• MicroStation / ORD plans production skills
• ORD modeling experience
• Experience with signing and pavement marking plans, signal and lighting plans will be a plus
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Capable / interested in marketing efforts
• Project management responsibilities as additional work is pursued
• Must be a self-starter in need of minimal to no supervision
• Ability to work alone on tasks as well as in a team atmosphere
• As desired, may be responsible for growing, leading, and mentoring a team of junior engineers and technicians
