An Engineering intern assists in various areas of Power Production and Delivery in AECC’s Engineering department located in Little Rock, AR. We’re looking for someone who can maintain a high degree of situational awareness to meet continually changing conditions with a fresh and adaptable approach. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside peers who are versatile, enthusiastic, and strive to push forward with AECC’s mission.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with various projects related to power production, power delivery operations, and / or transmission facilities.
- Utilize computer-based engineering software programs to create, design, analyze, and model related data to support the needs of our members.
- Support engineers with procurement and contracting related to the purchase of equipment, materials, or construction labor.
- Accompany AECC personnel on field visits to various locations throughout the state of Arkansas to collect data.
- Organize department drawings and documents to conform to division records management standards.
- Assist with database development and process mapping.
- Aid AECC staff, including engineers, analysts, and technicians in the accomplishment of daily objectives.
