Role Description
This is a part-time on-site Optometrist role located in Pearland, TX. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating visual problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and identifying eye health issues. They will also provide personalized care to patients, participate in staff meetings, and stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in conducting eye exams and diagnosing vision problems
- Experience in prescribing corrective lenses and identifying eye health issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff
- Knowledge of the latest advancements in optometry and commitment to continuous learning
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry
- Active and unrestricted state license in optometry
- Experience in managing patient care efficiently and effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
