Responsibilities:
- Support the development / creation of detailed engineering release plans / supplemental schedules using Microsoft Project Server.
- support the daily, weekly, monthly process of keeping the schedule maintained with % complete
- Work with the downstream consumer of engineering products, and communicate changes to the engineering schedule on a regular basis
- Program planning by supporting schedule merge meetings between Engineering Planning and Program Planning, ensuring vertical traceability to the IMS
- Support engineering and the program by producing the engineering health metrics- engineering burndowns, late starts, late finishes, forecast accuracy, etc.
- Support project design reviews (PDR, CDR)
- Participate in regular team meetings to provide status and coordinate with teammates
REQUIRED:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have US Citizenship.
- Motivated self-starter willing to take initiative.
- Ability to attain and maintain respect and confidence of the customer and contract personnel. A close, cooperative customer interface is essential.
- Mature, professional judgment in establishing objectives, milestones and priorities.
- Reliable and dependable work habits and dedication to get the job done.
- Experience working on government contracts.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
