Aegis Aerospace is currently looking for a Solar Array Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO.
Overview :
The purpose of this position is to work with the prime contractor in design, integration, and analysis of solar array systems of the Geo-XO spacecraft. This position will support Aegis' contract with Lockheed Martin in Denver, CO (Waterton Campus). The solar array engineer will work with Lockheed Martin's engineering team integrating power generation systems, deployment mechanisms, and structural integrity for the spacecraft. In addition, perform integration activities. Applicants will be defining solar array requirements, conducting performance and environmental assessments, verifying interfaces, and collaborating with engineering teams to prepare solar array documentation in support of Preliminary and Critical Design Review products. This role will also contribute to design review products, review of results, and communicating results effectively to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Develop solar array requirements
- conducting performance and environmental assessments
- Perform interface control drawing validation checks
- Perform dimensional analyses
- Work with project teams to review designs from internal and external teams
- Support project design reviews (PDR, CDR)
- Participate in regular team meetings to provide status and coordinate with teammates
