At Aegis Healthcare we are expanding our Home Health & Hospice Nursing Teams and are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of a Physical Therapy Assistant who shares our desire to make healthcare better for everyone.

COMPENSATION: $55,000 - $80,000 DOE
STATUS: Full-Time
SCHEDULE: Schedule Flexibility M-F 8am - 5pm
LOCATION: East Valley

Job Summary
- Provide physician prescribed physical therapy under a plan of care established by the PT
- Improve or minimize residual physical impairments of the patient
- Participate with all other health care personnel in patient care planning
- Perform all skilled procedures as ordered by the physician and according to the plan of care established by the PT
- Consult with PT regarding change in treatment
- Participate in educating the patient and the patient's family
- Participate in in-service programs as assigned
- Attend all patient care conferences as scheduled
- Prepare medical records, progress notes and update care plans for each patient visit in a timely manner as per policy
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Current Licensed, registered of Certified in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred.
- Effective verbal & written communication & time management skills
- Valid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation.
- Proof of current auto insurance & registration
- Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)
- Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test)
