Aegis Living Lake Union is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to assist the Maintenance Director in the general maintenance/Housekeeping and repair of our assisted living community and works for the lowest-cost solutions to maintenance issues. In addition, they will also be a backup driver for our community. The Driver is responsible for inspecting the vehicles and keeping them properly fueled and clean. When not driving, the Driver will report to the community for other assigned tasks including housekeeping and light maintenance duties.

What You Will Do:
- Perform repairs and do preventative maintenance on mechanicals
- Prepare rooms for new residents
- Communicate effectively with residents, other staff, and Maintenance Director on updates or issues that need to be addressed
Who You Are:
- Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the theory and practice of facilities and operations systems management in an assisted living and dementia care community
- Skilled at building relationships with residents and staff members
- Ability to maintain resident confidentiality
- Knowledge and/or ability to learn federal, state, and local regulations
- Must be willing to take 2-step TB test
- A valid state driver’s license, clean driving record, and any specialized licenses (or the willingness and capability to acquire) required to operate multi-passenger vehicles
- Experience working with the senior population
- Must meet State requirements on criminal background check.
- Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Test that includes marijuana.
- Must be a minimum age of 25 years of age transport residents and run errands fort the community.
