About The Role
We seek a Project Engineer to provide construction management support services to our valued clients. 3 to 7 years' construction experience is required. The Project Engineer's main responsibility is to monitor and report on design, bidding, cost and scheduling events with 100% transparency. Escalation of risk is the number one priority. The client should never be removed from the equation. Decisions involving schedule, cost, safety, coordination, and design shall be made by the client and the A/E team. General Responsibilities Include
- Develop understanding of project specifications and drawings
- Provide as needed support in identifying and managing project risk and profitability
- Provide as needed support in the management of subcontracting efforts
- Provide as needed support in the QA/QC process with the field team(s)
- Provide as needed support in the management of the project correspondence and documentation processes (submittals, RFIs, as-builts, etc.)
- Provide as needed support in management of material procurement, inventory, and site logistics
- Provide as needed support in change management process
- Provide as needed support with project financials
- Provide as needed support with coordination of periodic project meetings with the client(s) and trade partners
- 3 to 7 years' construction experience is required
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize your time to meet deadlines
- Strong ability to communicate--verbally and written--clearly, concisely and logically.
- Proven track record on speaking up when you encounter any potential roadblocks.
