Job Summary
The Security Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This position involves overseeing security personnel, implementing security protocols, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security staff to ensure effective monitoring of premises.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential security risks and implement appropriate measures.
• Develop and enforce loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
• Manage surveillance systems including CCTV, ensuring all equipment is operational and footage is reviewed as necessary.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, or alarms in a timely manner, providing first aid or CPR when required.
• Train security personnel in conflict management techniques and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and daily activities for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and practices.
• Proficient in surveillance operations including CCTV monitoring.
• Certified in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications in security or law enforcement are preferred.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Familiarity with military-style discipline and procedures is an asset.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.
