What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter--Temporary position at Aegis Sciences Corp?
The Recruiter is responsible for efficiently recruiting, sourcing and interviewing candidates for laboratory, technical, administrative, and management positions throughout the organization. He or she provides feedback and guidance to managers regarding candidates for open positions and will conduct the pre-employment process for all selected candidates.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Research and recommend new sources for recruiting active and passive candidates
• Maintain an accurate list of position postings on applicable websites, with professional organizations and other appropriate venues
• Develop a qualified pool of candidates to meet the team’s staffing needs
• Evaluate recruiting sources to determine the most efficient and effective method to attract qualified candidates
• Manage the pre-employment process for selected candidates including drug screens, background checks, employment verifications, and professional reference checks
• Assess and evaluate internal applicants for promotional opportunities
• Act as liaison between Aegis and all applicable recruiting agencies, temporary agencies, job board contacts, etc.
• Develop and maintain networks in the laboratory industry to fulfill recruiting needs
• Maintain recruiting metrics for performance evaluation and reporting
A Successful Candidate Must Possess:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience recruiting a diverse workforce
• Previous experience with an applicant tracking system required
• Previous Human Resources experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and a focus on customer service required
