Warehouse Technician

Job Summary:

The General Warehouse Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by performing a variety of tasks, such as receiving and shipping / delivering products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and preparing orders for shipment / deployment. The technician will work collaboratively with management to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming products, ensuring accurate quantity and quality
• Prepare products for shipping, including labeling and packaging
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical inventories
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, ensuring products are stored in their designated locations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Assist with other warehouse tasks, such as loading and unloading trucks and preparing orders for delivery
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment

Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

Valid Drivers License

Good Driving Record

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
