Aegis Sortation is seeking a dedicated Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator to help our team in managing building projects more efficiently. The BIM Coordinator will assist the BIM Manager in spearheading the creation and development of the company’s BIM protocols, CAD systems & software and systems integration. Responsibilities will include 3D CAD Development, implementing BIM training modules, project BIM set up, Parametric Family creation, and working with the engineering team to streamline the design process.

This position can be located in Louisville, KY, Cincinatti, OH, or Memphis, TN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards and protocols.
• Coordinate and manage BIM models for various projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of BIM models.
• Conduct quality control checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM and Revit.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and resolve any issues that arise.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate BIM processes.
• Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher in Computer Drafting and Design or similar technical program. Equivalent work experience will also be considered as a substitute for education.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience of BIM professional experience in Mechanical Conveyor, Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Extensive experience with BIM software, particularly Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. (Inventor & SolidWorks background is a plus)
• Experience with ACC, Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Strong understanding of BIM methodologies and standards.
• Excellent team management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in creating and managing BIM documentation and workflow processes.
• Experience in training staff in BIM processes.
