Job Description:
Across all functions of Aegis, the Quality and EHS (QHSE) Team drives Aegis toward standardized processes, procedures, and outputs that align with customer expectations, internal specifications, and relevant external regulations. As a Construction QA/QC Inspector, you support project execution on multiple worksites. By collaborating with project stakeholders (site operations management, customer, subcontractors, etc.), you ensure that construction is completed safely and project execution meets the defined quality control and quality assurance standards with clear, supporting documentation. This role collaborates in a systemic, cross-functional manner to support relentless reliability, continuous improvement, and excellent execution are measured and achieved. By limiting lost revenue due to poor quality and safety incidents, the QHSE Team supports Aegis' purpose of creating raving fans of both customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled inspections and audits twice monthly to ensure timely completion.
- Implement corrective actions weekly to address internal findings and maintain quality standards.
- Engage personnel with quality reports quarterly to foster high engagement rates.
- Monitor and manage warranty claims quarterly to minimize occurrences.
- Address and resolve customer complaints monthly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to decrease MIB costs and review results weekly, comparing quarterly.
- Track and report safety violation events quarterly to reduce occurrences.
- Monitor and manage the average cost per accident quarterly to achieve cost reduction.
- Ensure all personnel complete required safety training weekly to maintain high completion rates.
- Conduct scheduled quality and safety inspections for assigned projects to ensure compliance and satisfaction of contract requirements.
- Implement corrective actions with project stakeholders to address findings.
- Track scheduled audits and corrective actions to project schedule to ensure timely completion.
- Implement strategies to decrease the cost of poor quality and review results monthly, comparing quarterly.
- Track and report safety events to reduce negative occurrences quarterly.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 2-3 years of experience in construction.
- Solid Understanding of mechanical and electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
- Proficient in reading design drawings, technical specification standards in commercial construction.
- Experience overseeing delivery of safe, quality workmanship on a construction site.
- Prior experience collaborating with site and project stakeholders to identify, document, and coordinate correction of non-compliance.
- Ability to apply statistical data tools and automation for tracking performance and continuous improvement.
- Experience with M365 office tools and Autodesk Construction Cloud (preferred).
- OSHA 30 (Preferred)
- Experience conduction QA/QC Inspections of equipment, materials, and installation work.
