SENIOR MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER
LOCATION : Louisville, KY or Memphis, TN or Cincinatti, OH
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Serve as the lead coordinator of mechanical design activities for the project.
- Collaborate with project team members including mechanical design engineers, electrical engineers, project managers and customers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Work with Project Management to develop and manage the engineering design plan and schedule for the project.
- Check drawings and provide feedback to the design team.
- Perform a material take-off from project drawings and bills-of-materials and generate purchase requisitions.
- Research / review customer specifications to understand requirements and ensure compliance.
- Travel to customer facilities to conduct site surveys and document as-built conditions.
- Specify components and materials required as per the design and create equipment manifests.
- Utilize AutoCAD and / or Inventor software to review and collaborate on material handling system designs.
- Prepare drawing packages and transmittals for customer reviews.
