Aegis Worldwide is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our manufacturing team.
This individual will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical and control systems, ensuring smooth operations across our production facility.
- Troubleshoot, modify, and program PLCs and ladder logic to optimize system performance.
- Work with robotics, variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo motors, and other automation equipment.
- Maintain and repair instrumentation, electrical systems, and control systems within the facility.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to industrial automation, sensors, and HMIs.
- Assist in system upgrades, program modifications, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical codes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Technical degree in Electrical Maintenance, Controls, or a related field OR Associate's degree 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience: Strong background in PLC troubleshooting & programming, ladder logic, robotics, VFDs, servos, and control systems within a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and control diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with industrial automation and instrumentation.
