Responsibilities:
- Balance Workload Assignments – Distribute tasks effectively to align with company and customer objectives.
- Document Engineering Processes – Maintain detailed records of engineering workflows and procedures for team reference.
- Develop Cross-Functional Team – Train and mentor team members to handle multiple roles, reducing bottlenecks and improving efficiency.
- Manage Revision Control – Oversee document control and versioning processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Establish Accurate Quoting Rates – Ensure that production throughput rates used for quoting align with actual capabilities.
- Oversee IT Needs – Manage internal IT requirements and coordinate with external support teams for system maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Administer ERP System – Implement changes and manage requests related to the company’s ERP system.
- Lead Capital Justification Projects – Oversee evaluations and justifications for capital investments to support business growth.
- Monitor Customer & Part Margins – Conduct monthly reviews of pricing and profitability to identify and address any concerns.
- Task Management & Oversight – Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Support Sales & Quoting – Review quotes and collaborate with sales to develop strategies for securing new business.
- Set & Enforce Engineering Standards – Define best practices and ensure team members are trained and adhering to established standards.
- Customer & Vendor Relations – Travel as needed to meet with customers and vendors to support business initiatives.
- Additional Duties as Assigned – Take on other responsibilities as required to meet company goals.
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of 3D modeling
- 5 or more years of Engineering Team Lead or Manager
- 5 or more years of fabricating and machining experience
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
