Industrial Maintenance Manager - Food Manufacturing

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager to oversee and optimize the maintenance operations in our food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience in preventive and predictive maintenance within a food production environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintenance Leadership : Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, setting performance expectations, and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance : Develop and implement maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime, reduce failures, and extend asset life.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs : Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution to prevent production delays.
• Compliance & Safety : Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, FDA, USDA, and other relevant food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Continuous Improvement : Drive initiatives to improve equipment efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall plant performance.
• Spare Parts & Inventory Management : Maintain optimal stock levels of critical spare parts to support equipment maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Vendor & Contractor Management : Coordinate with third-party service providers for equipment repairs, upgrades, and scheduled maintenance.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime analysis, and equipment performance metrics.
• Cross-Department Collaboration : Work closely with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to support operational goals and minimize disruptions.
