Maintenance and Reliability Engineer

Position Overview:
We are currently partnered with an automotive manufacturing company located in the Cromwell, IN area that is seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to optimize the reliability of manufacturing equipment. You will lead root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high equipment uptime and performance. This role offers growth potential and a chance to advance within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Reliability Improvement: Develop strategies to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Monitor and improve PM programs, addressing deficiencies.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive daily initiatives to boost productivity and equipment uptime.
- Training: Develop and deliver training programs for maintenance personnel.
- KPIs: Establish and track performance metrics related to reliability (e.g., MTBF, MTTR).
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field) highly preferred (not required).
- Experience: 3 years in an engineering or technical role. Experience with AC/DC drives and robotic systems is a plus.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
