What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (3RD SHIFT) position at Aegis Worldwide?
Aegis is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor for a client in Chicago. The ideal candidate has the below experience and qualifications :
5 years of experience working as a maintenance supervisor
Steel manufacturing background- this is going to be most ideal. However, we can send heavy industry. (machine shops, equipment manufacturers, etc). please avoid food / beverage and similar consumer goods.
Experience working with heavy equipment- cranes, cnc machines, saws, ovens, etc.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
Experience with pumps, valves, and cylinders
Able to work in a hot environment
Experience working in a union environment
CMMS upgrade experience
Leadership- experience managing at least a team of 1 person.
Able to get their hands dirty and assist mechanics or electricians.
Nice to have :
ME / EE / MET / EET / Trade- any additional training or schooling would be helpful.
Combustion experience / equipment
