Direct Hire - Maintenance Technician - DAY OR NIGHT SHIFT - $30 - $40/hr
Aegis Worldwide is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in production equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Dismantle, inspect, and repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
- Material & Parts Management: Identify and order necessary materials for equipment and facility maintenance.
- Equipment Care: Lubricate, clean, and maintain machinery for optimal performance.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety policies, wear required PPE, and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Training & Development: Train team members on maintenance tasks and expand skills through ongoing training opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to stand/walk on concrete in a high-speed production facility.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 15 feet.
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
General Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, layouts, drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems with troubleshooting experience.
- Familiarity with shop math and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
