Responsibilities:
- Clean, organize, and prepare internal and customer-supplied CAD files and technical drawings for production use
- Develop clear, standardized in-process manufacturing drawings for use on the shop floor
- Create CNC programs for various production equipment, including press brakes and machining centers
- Select appropriate tooling for each production process, ensuring compatibility with CNC equipment and part specifications
- Identify tooling needs and recommend or initiate procurement of new tools when necessary
- Conduct first article inspections (FAIs) on newly developed parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality specifications prior to shipment
- Generate manufacturing routers and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support quoting and estimating for new customer projects
- Collaborate with customer engineering teams to resolve design discrepancies and ensure accurate translation of technical requirements
- Communicate effectively with internal customer service teams to ensure alignment between engineering outputs and client expectations
- Develop and apply knowledge of weld fixtures, special gauges, and custom forming tools to support complex fabrication work
- Partner with shop floor personnel to troubleshoot existing manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a proactive learning approach regarding new tools, equipment, and engineering best practices
- Assist with process documentation and support additional engineering or production tasks as assigned by leadership
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE:
- Required Experience: 1 to 2 years
- ME or MET bachelors or equivalent TBD
- Machining and fabrication experience
- 3D Cad experience, Solidworks preferred
- Cam experience preferred
- SQL, Excel Pivot and Power Pivot, Project Management preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work with others and dependently to complete tasks.
- 3D Cad and Solidworks knowledge
- Cam skills preferred
- SQL, Excel Pivot and Power Pivot, Project Management preferred
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
